User Information
All users who visit Ishkur.com are completely anonymous. I don't know who the hell they are. I mean, I can find out where they're from and what computer they use, like, from my referal logs 'n stuff and by looking up IPs and HTTP header information. But I don't actually know them. I can't guess what they eat for breakfast, or who they like to hang out with on weekends or what their highscore in Tetris is. Or what they like to do for fun. Well, they might like electronic music. But that's about all I know. Ishkur.com does not acquire or collect any personal information about you. Your name, address, phone number, and email address all remain your private properties--unless you email me for some reason.
There are instances where a user may provide specific personal information in a registration questionnaire or submission form on Ishkur.com that is not entirely mandatory in any way whatsoever. No one is putting a gun to these people's heads and telling them to fill out any forms. This information is used to further the community adventures of Ishkur.com and is hardly useful to anybody. It is volunteered willingly on the pretenses that it is made almost immediately public to other users of Ishkur.com to enhance the experience of the site for all, and is not being hoarded and used maliciously by the administrators and beancounters of Ishkur.com for fun and profit. Seriously.
Cookies
Ishkur.com may use cookies to improve your web browsing experience. Or automatically fill in form fields with your previous information or something. That's all. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that if you desire. No one is stopping you. It does not take away your Ishkur.com experience. The site will not magically fly away if you refuse to accept cookies from it.
Disclosure
Ishkur.com openly admits its practice of not having its shit together and freely allows you to wander all over the site unhindered and unmonitored. If you have any questions pertaining to this privacy policy and its contents, please direct your correspondence to me@ishkur.com.
Correcting/Updating/Deleting/Deactivating Personal Information
If a user wants to change their personally identifiable information, they can do so. If a user wants to delete their account, they can bother me@ishkur.com to do so, and it will be promptly done, no questions asked. (well, maybe one question: "why?")
Though I make every effort to preserve user privacy, I may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein I have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with an appropriate law enforcement investigation, current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process. But, let's be realistic here: that's only likely to happen if homicide is involved. Or Grand Theft Auto of cars in the game Grand Theft Auto.
Notification of Changes
If I decide to change my privacy policy, I will post these changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information I collect, how I use it, and under what circumstances I disclose it. Regardless of later updates, I will never use the information you submit under this current policy in a new way without first providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prevent that use. At least, that's what I'm hoping will happen.
